The Ambient Air fragrance concept has been specially developed to meet the needs of the discerning BMW driver. The Ambient Air fragrances create an exclusive feel-good ambience in the vehicle interior, ensuring maximum comfort even on long-distance journeys. In addition, a wide selection of different fragrances enables BMW drivers to make their vehicles even more exquisite and individual. Eight multi-faceted fragrances have been created for the optional Ambient Air package (SA 4NM), which are divided into four different suites. Each suite represents its own fragrance space and contains one light (No. 1) and one heavier (No. 2) fragrance.

The various Ambient Air suites create special scent worlds in the vehicle interior and thus make a lasting contribution to the well-being of the discerning BMW driver.
The small and handy shape of the fragrance cartridges ensures that they can be easily installed and removed from the glove compartment.
The design of the high-quality fragrance cartridges is based on the exclusivity of the interior and features the BMW emblem clearly visible in the centre of the cartridge.
Function:
Up to two fragrance cartridges can be installed in the fragrancer in the glove compartment.
The scents and their intensity can be regulated by the iDrive Controller according to the driver's wishes.
The service life of a fragrance cartridge is approx. 6 months (at medium intensity and 1 hour of use per day).
